To The Women: A Tribute On International Women's Day
On this March 8th International Women's Day, I want to honor my younger self and how far she has come.
I was beyond shy and scared of my own shadow for a long time. I lived in a rich inner world but had trouble communicating outwardly.
I overcame these deep-seated fears and have grown into a different, confident woman. I am very proud of the 6 year me and the 46 year old me.
I share this because my biggest leap has come in the past 4 years thanks to the support, wisdom, and role model creative and wise women in my life.
They are from all over the world and have the most fascinating lives, talents, and knowledge.
I am forever grateful for the women I know.
A special thank you to my business mentor, Susan Bradley, for all her wisdom, guidance, and trust in me. I don't take that responsibility lightly.
Together, the women I know are changing the world, one conversation, and action at a time with our businesses, creativity, and vision.
This week I will be sending them each love notes, Voxer messages, and texts.
I encourage you to do the same!
#1 Thank you to my Mama, Gudi. If you've ever met her, you know how amazing she is. ❤️💓
P.S. I invite you to follow me on Threads or Instagram. I've been posting a lot more on those platforms and have met some amazing women on Threads this year.
My favorite quote for International Women's Day is from Maya Angelou :
